Sebastian Stan Reportedly Set to Have a Cameo in ‘Captain America: Brave New World’

Only a few months stand between us and the release of ‘Captain America: Brave New World.’ It’s the first standalone movie focusing on MCU’s new Captain America – Sam Wilson and the first MCU movie to include Red Hulk.

Since the release of the movie’s first trailer, it has generated quite the hype despite being followed by negative rumors. Mostly due to poor test-screening results which caused massive and expensive additional reshoots.

Recently, the movie’s plot reportedly leaked on Reddit and one of the most interesting things is its cameos. Apparently, Sebastian Stan is set to make a cameo appearance as Bucky Barnes alongside Liv Tyler’s Betty Ross and Amadeus Cho, who will reportedly be played by Logan Kim.

Several months ago, it was confirmed that Stan won’t have an active role in the movie, and the set leaks confirmed that he was nowhere to be seen. This doesn’t however rule out a short cameo.

As far as the leaked plot of the movie goes, Sam Wilson goes on a mission against the Serpent Society while uncovering a sinister plot involving mind control and adamantium.

As he grapples with threats both external and internal, including an unexpected betrayal from Isaiah Bradley, Sam strives to solidify his place as Captain America and lead the Avengers amid a chaotic world.

Ultimately, he must confront the enigmatic Leader behind the mind control while navigating personal relationships and the weight of his new mantle, leading to an explosive showdown that tests his resolve and commitment to heroism.

‘Captain America: Brave New World’ is set to release on February 14th, 2025 as a part of Phase 5 of the MCU.
