‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ BTS Photos Show That Comic Accurate Short Wolverine Wasn’t Hugh Jackman CGI’ed & Fans Are Going Crazy

‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ is the most recent MCU installment and the movie keeps breaking box office records and entertaining fans worldwide. Much of the movie’s success can be attributed to fan service, as you know the movie marked the return of Marvel’s live-action legacy characters but also showcased plenty of Deadpool and Wolverine variants.

Almost at the start of the movie, Deadpool is looking for THE Wolverine. The Wolverine that served as an anchor for his own reality, Earth-10005, died during the events of the ‘Logan’ and Deadpool attempted to cross the oceans of time to find another who could stop his reality from collapsing.

But, before Deadpool managed to find the variant he needed he did find some epic (and hilarious variants.) In the movie, we’ve seen Old Man Logan, Age of Apocalypse Wolverine, the Cavillerine among others, and ….short King Wolverine.

In case you’re not aware, back when Hugh Jackman was cast as Wolverine there was a pretty massive backlash involved in the whole thing because fans hated how tall Hugh Jackman is. Wolverine is in the comics 5’3” and Jackman is 6’2”.

The movie decided to poke fun at these eternal debates online by showcasing a Short King Wolverine variant.

The thing however is that most fans assumed that Short King Wolverine is none other than Hugh Jackman but CGI’ed, well, he is not. That’s a different actor altogether, and fans lost it!
