Squid Game Season 2 recently premiered on Netflix, and while some stars are gaining momentum, others are dealing with unexpected issues. Park Sung-hoon, who plays Player 120, caused a stir after accidentally posting an adult-themed video with nudity, parodying Squid Game, on his social media.

Initially, many believed his account had been hacked, but it was later confirmed to be a mistake. His agency, BH Entertainment, clarified that Park had been overwhelmed by messages and mistakenly uploaded inappropriate content. Park apologized for the incident and promised to be more cautious in the future. However, the controversy continues.

The incident led to significant backlash from fans, with many calling for his removal from the upcoming K-drama The Tyrant’s Chef, where he was set to star alongside YoonA.

The latest update reveals that Park Sung-hoon has officially exited the production of The Tyrant’s Chef. According to OSEN, the decision was made after in-depth discussions between the production team and his agency.

The upcoming K-drama is based on the web novel Surviving as Yeonsan-gun’s Chef by Park Kook Jae and follows the story of a chef who mysteriously time-slips to the past and encounters a king, known for being a ruthless tyrant but also a skilled gourmet. Directed by Jang Tae Yoo, the series mixes comedy, romance, and fantasy, with themes of time travel, a tyrant male lead, and a chef’s adventure.

As of now, there has been no word on who will replace Park Sung-hoon in the role. Have thoughts to share? Let us know in the comments below!
