As a reminder, T.J. Miller was quietly removed from the “Deadpool” movies due to a series of sexual assault allegations, which he denied but that significantly impacted his career and posed a problem for Fox at the time.

While these allegations alone might have been enough for his departure, Miller also had a public feud with Ryan Reynolds. He claimed that Reynolds disliked him, had verbally abused him on set, and that the actor’s fame had gone to his head:

“As the character, he was, like, horrifically mean to me. But to me. As if I’m Weasel. He was like, ‘You know what’s great about you, Weasel? You’re not the star, but you do just enough exposition that it’s funny and then we can leave and get back to the real movie.’ (…) That’s exactly why he said that. Because I’m not funnier than he is at all, right? And I haven’t been in more movies than him. (…)

I think after he got super, super famous from the first Deadpool, then things kinda changed. I think he was like, ‘See? You guys see?’ (…) I would not have done ‘Deadpool 3’ if they came to me and were like, ‘We want you to do ‘Deadpool 3,’ and we’re going to pay you twice as much.’”

Miller also commented how Reynolds seems like an insecure dude who doesn’t like when other people get laughs and claims that people call him “crying Ryan”:

I think he’s kind of an insecure dude. He’s really nice but I mean his Twitter bio is “showing you the parts of me that Focus Tested the best in focus groups” and I’m not sure that he’s joking. I think that might actually be his real sentiment there. […] He’s worked so hard to get this movie made, and it’s people’s favorite movie. It’s “get a tattoo of it” level movie.

I think that maybe, there was some part of him that, that frustrated him. I can’t begin to guess what his deal is. […] I love it when people get laughs, you know I think it’s great when the two of you get laughs, no one else really on the show does…But you know, Ryan never does, and “crying Ryan” that’s what they used to call him.

Most recently, T.J. Miller has allegedly changed his mind about Ryan Reynolds and now wants to come back for more “Deadpool” movies. While talking on SiriusXM’s “The Bonfire”, Miller shared that he recently spoke with his former co-star.

Two years ago, Miller mentioned on “The Adam Carolla Show” that he didn’t think Reynolds liked him, so he didn’t expect them to work together again.

We talked a little while ago. I think he’s just been such a good friend right now that I think it would be really, I think [returning for ‘Deadpool 4’] would be awesome.

T.J. Miller played the bartender Weasel in the first two “Deadpool” movies, often appearing alongside Ryan Reynolds. Miller had already finished filming his scenes for “Deadpool 2” when accusations of sexual assault were made against him in 2017.

The following year, when the sequel was released, he was arrested for allegedly making a fake bomb threat on an Amtrak train, but the case was later dropped.

In 2018, Miller was accused of bullying his “Silicon Valley” co-star Alice Wetterlund, which he denied. He was not brought back to play Weasel in “Deadpool & Wolverine.”

Based on these latest comments, it appears things have now changed between Miller and Reynolds. What do you think? Is Miller just being sarcastic, or does he really want to work on another “Deadpool” movie? Let us know in the comments below.
