Black Knight

Black Knight is a superhero that has been published in Marvel Comics. The original Black Knight, Sir Percy of Scandia, was created by Stan Lee and Joe Maneely and first appeared in Black Knight #1 in 1955. Sir Percy was a medieval knight who wielded a magical ebony sword and fought against evil forces in his time. However, the most famous version of Black Knight is Dane Whitman, created by Roy Thomas and John Buscema and debuted in The Avengers #47 in 1967. Dane Whitman has been a member of the Avengers and other superhero teams and has had solo adventures. He has faced many villains over the years, including his own dark alter ego, who is a manifestation of his iconic sword’s dark powers.
