Darth Maul (Character)

Darth Maul is a fictional character that appears in the Star Wars franchise, created by George Lucas. Darth Maul, a Zabrak from Dathomir, is taken by Sidious as a child and trained in the dark side of the Force. He kills Qui-Gon Jinn, a Jedi Master, during the Battle of Naboo but is bisected by Qui-Gon’s apprentice, Obi-Wan. After surviving years of isolation, Maul seeks revenge, leading crime syndicates, taking over Mandalore, and murdering Duchess Satine Kryze. He ultimately faces Obi-Wan one last time on Tatooine and dies in their final confrontation.
