Rey Skywalker (Character)

Rey, later taking on the surname Skywalker is a fictional character that appears in the Star Wars franchise created by Lawrence Kasdan, J.J. Abrams and Michael Amdt. Rey, an abandoned scavenger on Jakku, joins the Resistance to confront the First Order. As a powerful Force user, she trains as a Jedi under Luke Skywalker and Leia Organa, facing adversaries like Kylo Ren and Emperor Palpatine, who is revealed to be her grandfather. Rey and Kylo Ren, despite being enemies, share a Force connection, and they eventually become romantically involved. After defeating Palpatine and her own resurrection, Rey takes the name Rey Skywalker, renouncing her lineage and dedicating herself to rebuilding the Jedi Order as the last remaining Jedi.
