Star-Lord

Peter Jason Quill, most commonly known as Star-Lord is a fictional character that appears in Marvel Comics. He was created by Steve Englehart and Steve Gan and debuted in Marvel Preview #4 in 1979. Star-Lord is is the son of a human mother and an alien father. Star-Lord is a member of the Guardians of the Galaxy, a team of space-faring heroes that also includes Gamora, Drax the Destroyer, Groot, and Rocket Raccoon. As Star-Lord, Peter Quill is known for his bravery, leadership, and combat skills, as well as his use of advanced technology, including a jetpack and his signature “element guns,” which can fire bursts of fire, water, air, or earth.
