Swamp Thing (Character)

Swamp Thing is a fictional character that appears in DC comics created by Len Wein and Bernie Wrightson. Swamp Thing is a swamp monster with a human-like appearance who defends his swamp home, the environment, and humanity from supernatural and terrorist dangers. The character gained significant fame during the 1970s Wein/Wrightson run and the mid-late 1980s acclaimed run by Alan Moore, Stephen Bissette, and John Totleben, later becoming a prominent member of the Justice League Dark, a team of magical superheroes.
