Wonder Man

Wonder Man is a Marvel Comics superhero that debuted in The Avengers #9 back in 1964. Throughout its long publication history, Wonder Man was at first portrayed as a villain and a vicious opponent of the Avengers until ultimately being reworked as a superhero. Simon Williams aka Wonder Man started his life as the son of rich industrialist Sanford Williams, when he was faced with bankruptcy he decided to accept the proposal made to him by Baron Heinrich Zemo to be transformed and experimented on in order to get revenge on Tony Stark, who he perceived was to blame for his business’ collapse. Despite being part of various publication over the years, Wonder Man was not adapted to many forms of media, a fact that is soon to change with the release with the new standalone Disney+ show.
