'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles x Naruto' #3 Preview: April and Splinter Are Missing!

As far as fictional ninja (shinobi) are concerned, Naruto and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are among the best franchises you can find. Naruto is a globally popular animanga series, while the TMNT franchise became a hit in the West. As you probably know, the two are currently enjoying a crossover comic book series from IDW!

Being released on March 26, 2025, the upcoming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles x Naruto #3 will continue the intriguing adventure with a new twist, as the Konohakagure shinobi and the turtles are going to have to unite again to save their comrades.

Written by Caleb Goellner with art by Hendry Prasetya, the third issue of the crossover series will continue a new adventure as Shredder’s troops ransack the lair and kidnap both April and Splinter. This means that the Turtles and Team 7 are going to have to team up once again to save them:

Having guarded April O’Neil on her journey home from the Hidden Leaf Village, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Team 7 are ready to relax, pick up some dinner, and call it another successful mission. The bright city lights of Big Apple Village cast dark shadows, though, and when they return to the Turtles’ lair, it’s been ransacked. April and Splinter are gone, and there’s only one person who could be responsible. Naruto, Sakura, Sasuke, and Kakashi must help save both their missing comrades and April’s sample of mutagenic ooze before it’s too late, or Shredder’s single-minded pursuit of power won’t just threaten one village, but them all.
