The Means to Resurrect Wanda in the MCU Has Been Right in Front of Us Since ‘Agatha All Along’ Episode 1

‘Agatha All Along’ is MCU’s most recent installment. The show serves as a sequel and a spinoff of ‘WandaVision’ following Agatha Harkness after she manages to escape her magical imprisonment at the hands of Scarlet Witch.

Due to this connection to ‘WandaVision’ and the fact that the show explores magical and occult sidde of the MCU – fans have been expecting Scarlet Witch to either be resurrected in the show or make an apperance.

The showrunner Jac Schaffer already explained that we won’t see Wanda since this is Agatha’s show and Wanda would manage to steal the spotlight. But, this doesn’t rule out that we aren’t about to witness the resurrection of Scarlet Witch.

Scarlet Witch collapsed the Darkhold Castle on top of herself and destroyed every copy of Darkhold in exitence – the incident also left her presumably dead. Now Scarlet Witch is one of the most powerful characters in the MCU, but she is also a glass canon meaning that she is relatively easy to kill compared to heavy-hitters like Hulk and Thor.

The debris could easily kill Wanda’s human body, however fans always knew that she won’t stay dead for long. We’ve had numerous theories in the past about how Wanda could possibly return to the MCU and we missed something quite obvious – Rio Vidal.

Rio Vidal was introduced in ‘Agatha All Along’ episode 1. She was introduced as the Green Witch and an enemy of Agatha. It was soon revealed however that the two share an extremely complicated history being both enemies and lovers and the same time.

Marvel merch leak revealed soon after the show’s debut that Rio Vidal is actually Lady Death – the 4th cosmic entity in the MCU. This made all the sense at the time considering that Vidal desperately needed to Kill Agatha, and it would make perfect sense of Agatha to be followed by the death as her domain is spirit.

The definite confirmation that Rio Vidal is Death came in ‘Agatha All Along’ Episode 7 when she was directly adressed as such by Lilia Calderu.

Rio Vidal has been traveling with the coven, collecting dead bodies left and right ever since the first episode, but she might also be a key to Wanda’s resurrection.

Death is a cosmic-level entity that can achieve almost any effect within certain limits. These limits are naturally going to be a bit more strict in the MCU but there’s no way that Death itself isn’t capable of brigning someone back to life.

Lady Death might be the thing everyone search for on the Witches’ Road, and it’s quite possible that this is why very few survive the journey. It’s possible that the only reason why Agatha survived the Road was beacuse she managed to seduce Death.

It’s possible that Agatha and Billy will reach the end of the road again and Billy will ask for his mother to be resurrected. Yes, he might ask for death to resurrect his brother but this might not be possible since Tommy is likely currently not dead hence why Billy can feel him.

Witches Road has the power to bring someone back to life, similar thing happened to Agatha in the comics. She was brought to the world of the living revitalized thanks to the Witches Road.
