The fourth season of The Boys premiered on June 13, 2024, and concluded on July 18, 2024, with a final episode that left fans in awe. The epic conclusion was so intense that viewers needed time to process the madness it delivered. As you might already know, the season earned a Certified Fresh rating, with outstanding numbers that solidify it as a massive success.

Throughout the season, we reported on its impressive viewership, which was consistently confirmed by Amazon and later validated by Nielsen ratings released weeks after each episode aired.

Now, as Deadline reports, the official Nielsen ratings for the Season 4 finale are in, reaffirming what we’ve been saying all along—The Boys Season 4 was a colossal hit and stands as one of the best TV experiences of the year in numerous ways.

Nielsen has released the official data for the week of July 15 to 21, coinciding with the airing of the final episode of The Boys Season 4. If our previous reports didn’t make it clear, the finale was a massive hit and one of the most talked-about television events of the year—not that it surprised us.

Since its premiere, the season consistently pulled in impressive numbers, maintaining a steady position in the Top 5, unlike some other popular series airing simultaneously. Amazon confirmed the strong performance, and Nielsen’s ratings echoed this.

During the final week, the series broke several records, amassing over 1.3 billion minutes of viewership and claiming the No. 1 spot among all streaming titles for the interval. This marked the first time the series topped this category, although it had surpassed the billion-minute milestone and secured a spot in the Top 10 every week since Season 4’s debut on June 13.

Moreover, The Boys broke the billion-minute mark eight times this season, a record for any Prime Video title. Additionally, the series now boasts 20 appearances in the Nielsen streaming Top 10, the most for any Prime Video show.

This data confirms what we’ve been saying all along, and we couldn’t be happier for the series. We eagerly await what the production has in store for the final season.
