Ranker is a popular website where users can rank anything they like, whenever they want. This platform focuses on fan-driven rankings and isn’t officially connected to the creators of the projects being ranked.

Recently, Ranker published an intriguing list of the strongest MCU Avengers based on their comic book stats. While there are many characters included, we’ve chosen to highlight the top ten to give you a clearer picture, along with our own comments and insights. Unlike other rankings, this one relies on the official stats provided on the site rather than fan votes.

Given the significance of this list, we’re excited to share the results, counting down from 10th to 1st place. We hope you enjoy it!

10. Black Panther

From our point of view, Black Panther is a fitting choice for the 10th hero on this list. He is undoubtedly strong enough to be in the top 10, but he doesn’t reach the level of the strongest heroes. The comic book stats have been effectively represented in the MCU films, and this ranking aligns with what we know about T’Challa in the MCU.

9. Captain America

Captain America is a character with significant power, and his comic book stats back that up. He played a crucial role as a member of the Avengers in the MCU, and based on the available data, this ranking accurately reflects his abilities compared to his comic book stats. Similar to Black Panther, we fully agree with this placement.

8. Spider-Man

Spider-Man is a character with impressive abilities in the comics, and there are many versions of him that showcase his strengths. However, Tom Holland’s portrayal of Spider-Man in the MCU doesn’t quite match that power level. Based on what we’ve seen in the movies, we wouldn’t rank him as highly as he is in the comics. In our view, this is the first inaccurate listing.

7. Vision

Vision is portrayed as much more powerful in the comics, but the MCU still shows him as a formidable character. He held his own against Thanos, which earned him respect in the MCU. While there’s some debate about whether his powers in the films justify this ranking, he undoubtedly deserves a spot in the top 10.

6. Captain Marvel

Captain Marvel is one of the characters who was significantly enhanced for the MCU. While she is already very powerful in the comics, she was portrayed as one of the strongest superheroes in the MCU for a time. She absolutely deserves to be on this list, and we would even rank her higher than her current position based on the comic book stats.

5. Iron Man

Iron Man has made significant contributions to the MCU, and that’s undeniable. His strength and intelligence helped the Avengers many times, and he ultimately sacrificed himself to save the world in Endgame. Is he the fifth strongest character in the MCU? Probably not, as Captain Marvel is stronger than him in the films. However, he certainly deserves a spot in the top 10.

4. Doctor Strange

It makes perfect sense for Doctor Strange to be in the top five. His powers are incredible, and he is undoubtedly one of the most powerful Avengers. In fact, he has demonstrated such strength and skill that we would even rank him third, ahead of Wanda, since he has proven he can defeat her in a fight, which qualifies him for that position.

3. Scarlet Witch

Wanda was initially underestimated, but over the course of the franchise, her true power and danger have become clear. Her magic was strong enough to create entire realities, making her incredibly difficult to stop. However, considering what we mentioned about Doctor Strange, we would place Wanda in the fourth spot on this list.

2. Thor

Given everything we’ve seen in the movies, Thor deserves to be number one on this list. Although this version of Thor isn’t fully representative of his comic book character (who has even more potential for growth), he has consistently demonstrated his power and strength. Time and again, Thor has proven himself to surpass the other Avengers, solidifying his place at the top.

1. Hulk

If we only looked at comic book data, the Hulk would take the top spot. However, Mark Ruffalo’s version of the character in the MCU isn’t as powerful. While we’ve seen glimpses of the Hulk’s strength in the series, it’s clear he isn’t at his peak. For this reason, we wouldn’t place him at number one, but he certainly deserves a place in the top 10.
