The new trailer for ‘Venom: The Last Dance’ is out, and there’s a lot to talk about. Fans everywhere are analyzing it, discussing the new details, hidden references, and their own theories. But while fans speculate, Tom Hardy, who plays Eddie Brock in the movie, knows all the answers.

After the trailer’s release, Hardy spoke with Forbes and shared some interesting details about the upcoming movie and Sony’s plans for the larger Spider-Man universe.

Tom Hardy immediately expressed his excitement about the final movie, saying they made it much bigger and turned it into a true action film that he really enjoyed. He’s eagerly looking forward to its release in October. Regarding the production, he said:

“Kelly [Marcel] and I have been working with Tom Rothman and Sanford [Panitch] and their Sony team for 7-8 years now. We started off – like initially, [Venom] was just Eddie Brock and nobody knew what we were going to do. Then the second [film, Venom: Let There Be Carnage] – we wrote the second one, we pitched it, got to direct it, put the team together on that – that was huge! That was a huge university of learning.

Not to mention, I had Covid – we had to put [that news] out there.”

However, that wasn’t the main thing fans were curious about. While it’s good to know Hardy is doing well, most fans are eager to find out if his Venom will face off against Spider-Man. The actor shared an interesting piece of information about that:

“People were going to judge us, you know? Marvel Universe under [Kevin] Feige’s management is doing so well. Spider-Man has gone to Feige’s camp at Marvel. We have one [at Sony]! To me and Kelly, it’s so important to pour in everything that we can to build on that opportunity. So by the third one now, Kelly is directing it, she’s writing – I’m attached to it at the hip and shoulder, like whatever you need, we’ll figure it out.”

This is definitely big news! A second Spider-Man? Will it be a new face or a returning actor? Andrew Garfield seems like a possibility since his Spider-Man didn’t have a Venom. However, Hardy didn’t share many details. There are some rumors about Garfield’s return, but take them with a grain of salt:

In the end, he said, “I think you have to go all out with these things. It’s the last one, and we want to go out with a bang and set the stage for future possibilities because it’s been such a great journey. I’ve really enjoyed working on a big film with big ideas and having so many people counting on you to deliver.”

Regardless, ‘Venom: The Last Dance’ seems poised for success, and we hope the final movie in the trilogy delivers. Stay tuned for all the updates!
