Tom Hardy’s Overlooked Series Is Now Available to Stream for Free

Tom Hardy is undoubtedly one of the most popular actors of our time. While opinions on the quality of some of his projects may vary, it’s undeniable that Hardy brings his signature charisma to every role. He has the rare ability to elevate any project, regardless of its overall reception.

Currently starring as Eddie Brock in Venom: The Last Dance, set to premiere later this week, Hardy’s renewed spotlight has prompted interest in one of his lesser-known projects from nearly 20 years ago, which is now available to stream for free.

The series in question is Cape Wrath (also known as Meadowlands), a British thriller drama that aired in 2007, consists of eight episodes. While Hardy plays a secondary role, the cast also includes Felicity Jones, Sian Brooke, and Sean Harris, with David Morrissey and Lucy Cohu in the lead roles.

The series premiered on June 17, 2007, and ran until August 5, 2007, with a total of eight episodes. It originally aired on Channel 4 in the UK, with additional broadcasts on E4, and was distributed by Showtime in the U.S. Now, the entire series is available to stream for free on YouTube, likely in an attempt to reignite interest ahead of Hardy’s upcoming movie release.

Their lives in danger, Danny and Evelyn Brogan enter the witness protection program and are moved, with their teenage twins Zoe and Mark, to Meadowlands, a seemingly idyllic and perfectly manicured community.

Their initial sense of well-being is shaken, however, by the dawning realization that most of their new neighbors are harboring dark secrets of their own, and only Danny’s case supervisor, Samantha, is holding all the cards. The Brogans quickly realize that they may have left their old problems behind, but a whole new kind of sinister trouble lies in wait as they start their new lives together.

In the series, Tom Hardy plays Jack Donnelly, a local man who seems to know more than he should.
