It’s been almost two years since Tom Holland co-starred with Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield in ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home,’ the latest live-action Spider-Man movie which concluded Holland’s MCU trilogy. While we know that the untitled ‘Spider-Man 4‘ is currently in development, there’s still no official release date, and both Holland and the produced Amy Pascal recently said that the development is currently on hold amid the ongoing WGA strike.

Even though it’s been a while since we last saw Holland’s Peter Parker, this year is still pretty amazing for Spider-Man fans, given that the long-anticipated animated movie ‘Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse’ recently premiered in theaters. And next October, the Spider-fans who own PS5 will be able to play ‘Spider-Man 2,’ the anticipated video game which serves as the sequel to both 2018’s ‘Spider-Man’ and 2020’s ‘Spider-Man: Miles Morales.’

Tom Holland would like to share a screen with Miles Morales’ Spider-Man in the future

While it’s hard to predict when will the next Spider-Man starring Tom Holland hit theaters, his newest project, the limited series ‘The Crowded Room,’ recently premiered its first three episodes on Apple TV+. While speaking about his newest project, it’s next to impossible for the English actor to dodge questions about his next Spider-Man outing.

While speaking with Inverse, Holland shared that he’d love to share a screen with Miles Morales’ Spider-Man in the future eventually. The producer Amy Pascal shared that the live-action Miles Morales movie is currently in early development.

“I would be honored to bring Miles Morales into the live-action world. How we do that, I don’t know, but given the opportunity, I would jump at it.”

Holland recently shared how ‘Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse’ is his favorite Spider-Man movie, and now he also shared that the script for ‘Spider-Man 4‘ looks pretty good so far.

“Whether or not it’ll come to fruition, who knows? But right now, it’s looking pretty good, and we’ll just have to wait and see.”

PS5 Game ‘Spider-Man 2’ Gets an Official Release Date

Tom Holland first debuted as Spider-Man in 2016’s ‘Captain America: Civil War.’ Since then, he starred in three Spider-Man movies, as well as ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ and ‘Avengers: Endgame.’ The untitled ‘Spider-Man 4’ is currently in development, and some reports say that he already signed for that movie and a whole new Spider-Man trilogy. Still, let’s go one movie at a time, and given how interconnected Marvel Cinematic Universe is, it wouldn’t be a surprise if we’d see Holland’s web-slinger in the upcoming Avengers movies as well.

The producer Amy Pascal recently shared that a Miles Morales live-action movie is in early development, but there’s no telling if that movie is supposed to be a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe or Sony’s Spider-Man Universe. We’ll need to wait to see, but we really think it’s time for Miles Morales to shine in live-action as well after he did in the animated Spider-Verse franchise and the video game franchise developed by Insomniac.

‘Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse’ is now playing in theaters worldwide.
