‘Tulsa King’ Season 3 Gears Up for Action as Martin Starr Teases What’s Ahead

Tulsa King is coming back for a third season! The hit crime drama, starring Sylvester Stallone as mafia boss Dwight “The General” Manfredi, has been a big success on Paramount+. The show, created by Taylor Sheridan, follows Dwight as he builds a criminal empire in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
After two action-packed seasons, fans are excited to see what happens next. Filming for Season 3 is set to begin soon, and new twists and surprises are expected. While details are still secret, the upcoming season promises more drama, action, and high-stakes crime.
Martin Starr, who plays Bodhi, recently spoke about the upcoming season. While promoting his new film Out For Delivery at SXSW, Starr confirmed that production is starting next week. He has read the first two scripts and teased an exciting season ahead. “There’s going to be a lot of action,” he said. He also hinted that some unanswered questions from Season 2 might finally be resolved.
Stallone is known for having a big influence on the show, and Starr revealed that the legendary actor constantly rewrites his own dialogue. “He does it every night,” Starr shared. He also mentioned that Stallone enjoys improvising, especially in their scenes together. Their comedic chemistry has been a fan favorite, and Starr hopes there will be more fun moments in the new season.
“Yeah, these aren’t secrets. But he also, lucky for me, enjoys improvising. So, especially when it’s the two of us, we get to play around a little bit.” Starr said. “There’s maybe not as much room in a bigger scene with a lot of cast to find moments or jokes that we can find on the day, but he does like to play with the dialogue, which I appreciate, and he likes comedy. We get to find new things in there and have fun. I appreciate it.”
With filming set to begin soon, Tulsa King Season 3 is on its way. Paramount+ is betting big on the series, so more updates should be coming soon.
