Tyler Hoechlin on His Potential ‘Teen Wolf’ Return: “Always. Yes. The [fans] keep asking for it!”

Tyler Hoechlin, known for playing Derek Hale on Teen Wolf, recently spoke about returning to the franchise. In a recent interview, Hoechlin shared his thoughts on coming back to the role. While he jokingly mentioned that Derek has already died several times on the show, he made it clear he would be open to returning.

He explained that many of his closest friends are from the Teen Wolf cast, and they all love working together.

Hoechlin also acknowledged the ongoing demand from fans for more Teen Wolf. He admitted to seeing all the tweets and posts asking for his return, showing how strong the fanbase still is.

However, there’s a big issue with Derek returning: he died in Teen Wolf: The Movie. In the 2023 film, Derek sacrifices himself while facing off against the Nogitsune. This would make it tricky for the character to come back unless they find a way to explain his death.

For now, there’s no official plan to revive the show, but the demand from fans could make it happen. If a new Teen Wolf series did return, it’s clear that fans would love to see as many original cast members as possible, including Derek.
