Upcoming ‘Spider-Verse’ Series Teases Marvel’s Spider-Prowler

A new chapter is unfolding in the Spider-Verse, and it’s bringing some exciting changes. In 2023’s ‘Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse,’ Miles Morales continued his multiverse adventures with Gwen Stacy and Spider-Man 2099, only to discover he is a dangerous anomaly threatening the multiverse.

After escaping to Earth-42, a world without Spider-Man, Miles takes on a darker role as the Prowler, a costumed criminal.

Fans won’t have to wait long to see more of Miles and his alternate version as Spider-Verse expands into a new comic series. ‘Marvel’s Web of Spider-Verse: New Blood’ #1 introduces a new version of Miles, the Spider-Prowler, along with other Spider characters like Count Parker, a vampire Spider-Man, and Peter Parker who never changed back from his Spider-Hulk form.

A second comic, ‘Web of Venomverse: Fresh Brains’ #1, sets the stage for the upcoming ‘Spider-Verse vs. Venomverse’ event, where Spider-People will clash with Venom symbiote hosts in a huge multiverse battle.

These new comics feature some of the best writers and artists in the industry, including Mat Groom, Greg Pak, and Chris Eliopoulos.

As the battle between the Spider-Verse and Venomverse heats up, fans can expect nonstop action and fresh, exciting character designs. Be ready for the fight of the multiverse when ‘Web of Spider-Verse: New Blood’ #1 drops on March 5, followed by ‘Web of Venomverse: Fresh Brains’ #1 on April 2. The epic ‘Spider-Verse vs. Venomverse’ event will launch later in 2025.
