‘Venom: The Last Dance’ Star Tom Hardy Really Wants To Be Part of the MCU – But Not as Venom

‘Venom: The Last Dance’ is set for a worldwide release in just a few days. The release of the movie is an important milestone for the SSU. First, it’s the end of an era for Venom and Eddie, and the end of the road for Tom Hardy who confirmed that this is the final installment.
Knull and Symbiotes in general are ready to crossover to the MCU, according to the latest reports, but so is Hardy, as he confirmed that he would love to play a different character in the MCU.
As a reminder, both Eddie and Venom are already canon to the MCU following the events of ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home.’ A piece of symbiote was left behind when Eddie returned to his native universe, but it seems that ‘Venom: The Last Dance’ will explain this detail more closely.
During the ‘Venom 3’ panel at New York Comic Con, Tom Hardy said he would potentially love to face off against Spider-Man, saying, “I would love to fight Spider-Man. I would love to fight him now. I’m happy to fight Spider-Man today, 100 percent.” He added, “I would never say never. We were specifically set up to bring Venom to a movie format, and that’s what we’ve done. The Last Dance is the final piece in that trilogy, and we’re really excited about that.”
This is extremely positive news, as everyone loved Hardy’s portrayal of Venom, however, even if his Venom era is over, Hardy confirmed that he would be open to returning as a different character.
Hardy was asked which Spider-Man could lure him to the MCU and “without the shadow of a doubt” Hardy explained that it’s specifically Holland’s Spider-Man. The actor also explained that he would both play and fight other characters:
Hardy: Uh, well to play them, just to play – I’d play other Marvel characters.
CB: I meant, as far as Venom fighting them.
Hardy: Oh, I’d fight anyone, just anybody.
CB: Venom Incredible Hulk, let’s do it

Hardy: Yeah, even him.
We’re yet to see how the movie concludes and how Eddie’s story would be concluded, and while we would all love to see Hardy in the MCU – as Venom, especially fighting Hulk, the idea of him playing another character is also interesting.
