[VIDEO] Leaked D23 ‘Daredevil: Born Again’ Teaser Trailer Showcases Action, Return of Old Faces & David vs. Goliath

‘Daredevil: Born Again’ is one of the most talked-about upcoming MCU projects, partly due to the fan-fueled hype and partly due to its turbulent production that’s been plagued with everything from SAG-AFTRA strike to creative differences in what the showrunners wanted and what the studio wanted. 

The first exclusive footage for the project that now officially falls under the MCU umbrella has been showcased on this year’s D23, and lucky for you someone leaked it online.

The teaser trailer has revealed some interesting plot points and characters that we can expect in the upcoming first season. First, now it’s officially been confirmed that Muse will be the villain in the series. White Tiger will also make an appearance confirming the speculation that started with set leaks, and Bullseye will start the season in jail.

It appears that Matt Murdock and Kingpin will have some kind of an understanding but it will presumably fall through. The show connects to Ms. Marvel surprisingly by showcasing Yusuf Khan, the father of Kamala Khan. We can also see that Matt and Frank are reunited – also something that set footage has already confirmed.

‘Daredevil: Born Again’ features Charlie Cox reprising his role as Matt Murdock/Daredevil. Vincent D’Onofrio returns as Wilson Fisk/Kingpin, now running for mayor of New York City, and Jon Bernthal is back as Frank Castle/The Punisher. The series also introduces new characters like Margarita Levieva as Heather Glenn, Michael Gandolfini as Daniel Blade, and Kamar de los Reyes as Hector Ayala/White Tiger. Key returning characters include Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page, Elden Henson as Foggy Nelson, and Wilson Bethel as Benjamin “Dex” Poindexter/Bullseye.

The show is set to premiere on Disney+ in March 2025. The series will have 18 episodes, split into two halves of nine episodes each, and will be part of Phase Five of the MCU.
