This year’s D23 event was packed with exciting announcements, and one of the biggest highlights was the teaser trailer for ‘Daredevil: Born Again.’ The teaser revealed some potential plot points and characters for the upcoming first season. It’s now officially confirmed that Muse will be one of the villains, while White Tiger’s appearance has been verified, following earlier speculation from set leaks. Additionally, Bullseye will begin the season in jail.

It seems that Matt Murdock and Kingpin will start with some sort of understanding, but it’s likely to unravel as the season progresses. Possible connections to the Young Avengers have also been brought to light, thanks to the presence of Yusuf Khan in the trailer.

Now one more thing that the leaked trailer confirmed is various helmet designs which might mean that Daredevil will have at least 5 different suits in the upcoming show. This is not surprising considering that Daredevil has quite a lot of suits in the source material. Netflix’s Daredevil show showcased at least 3 different suits, and MCU’s ‘She-Hulk’ showcased his iconic red and gold suit. We know that Daredevil will have a new suit design in the upcoming show as was verified via set leaks, but the leaked trailer footage also confirmed several new helmet designs and that he will likely have a black variant of the suit as well.

In the ‘Shadowland’ crossover (2010), after taking control of the Hand, Daredevil became corrupted by the cult’s patron demon, the Beast. Under the Beast’s influence, Daredevil led the Hand in more extreme crime-fighting, turning Hell’s Kitchen into a mystical prison and adopting an all-black costume with a red logo and eyes.

After the Beast was purged from his soul, Daredevil abandoned the dark costume and returned to his original attire following a journey of self-discovery. The third black suit was actually a mix of the Shadowland suit and his traditional suit keeping the main Shadowland theme going but adopting red boots, gloves, escrima sticks, and a logo. For years, Daredevil’s black suit was his standard look until he returned to his classic red costume in 2018.
