We Have Found the Ideal Villain for the Final Thor Film!

Although his solo films have often been considered mediocre (with the exception of Ragnarok), Thor Odinson remains one of the most beloved characters in the MCU. His significant fanbase continues to support him, even though his current status in the franchise is somewhat uncertain.

As a formidable powerhouse and one of the strongest characters in the MCU, Thor holds a crucial place in the lore. It’s no surprise that fans are eager for more of him, and it looks like he may be getting a fifth solo movie, which would set a record for the most solo films featuring a single character in the MCU.

While we know a fifth film is in the works, details about its plot and main villain are still under wraps.

The hints about Hercules have not led to any concrete information, but despite this lack of clarity, we believe we’ve identified the perfect villain for a potential Thor movie.

Thor’s lore is rich with captivating characters and villains, some of whom are truly intriguing. While we’ve seen figures like Hela and Gorr grace the screen, their portrayals have been a mixed bag—some executed brilliantly, while others, like Gorr, have sadly felt underwhelming. Unfortunately, there’s not much that can be done about that now.

Though there are many compelling candidates for villains in a fifth Thor movie, we believe we’ve identified the ideal choice.

Before we unveil this character, we need to address the elephant in the room—Hercules, who was hinted at as a potential adversary for Thor in a future installment.

While we can’t dismiss the possibility of Hercules being used in upcoming stories, and his cameo certainly made an impression, we doubt he’ll have a significant role if he returns.

Instead, we suggest that Thor’s new enemy could be none other than a cyborg clone of himself known as Ragnarok (or, more colloquially, Cyber Thor). Please hear us out on this one!

The character first appeared in the comics as a “replacement” for Thor during his absence, created by Iron Man and several other notable heroes who utilized Thor’s DNA and advanced technology to develop the clone. Ragnarok features in multiple comic storylines, having been defeated and destroyed on several occasions, only to be resurrected time and again.

Given the current state of Thor’s narrative, introducing Ragnarok could significantly expand the lore and present Thor with a worthy challenge—especially since he aligns well with established mythos (unlike Gorr, who had to be significantly toned down for the film).
