What Could Beau DeMayo Possibly Have Done To Be Blacklisted by Disney so Severely?

Just weeks ahead of the ‘X-Men ’97’ premiere, the public was notified that Beau DeMayo, the mind behind the show had been fired by the company. His company email was deactivated without prior notice. The studio refused to comment on the reasons behind the firing and his representatives have stayed silent on the matter as well. DeMayo nuked his social media at the time and didn’t comment on the reasons behind this shocking decision.

Several weeks ago, DeMayo cleared up that he wrote season 2 of ‘X-Men ’97’ but won’t be involved with the production. Fans were relieved since due to the quality of the show in question, numerous fans campaigned for DeMayo to be reinstated as the writer, some went as far as to recommend him as the head writer for the upcoming ‘X-Men’ MCU reboot, a project currently in development.

Not only did this not happen, but recently, we’ve learned that his script for season 2 has been revised, which left fans angry and disappointed, with many of them now expecting the second season to be worse.

This prompted many fans to question, what did Beau DeMayo do to get fired so rapidly and so quickly?

We have nothing confirmed to offer you except for rumors brought to us by industry insiders, days after DeMayo was already fired. The leading speculation was that the writers were cut off from the company due to having an OnlyFans account. The account wasn’t as controversial as you would assume, with DeMayo mostly talking about his writing processes.

Several days after DeMayo was fired, Jeff Sneider, an industry insider revealed that DeMayo was allegedly fired due to being “difficult to work with.” He reportedly had a series of other problematic issues that eventually served as the straw that broke the camel’s back. Sneider did not want to reveal more as he had a newsletter coming out. Rocha added that the fact that DeMayo had an OnlyFans, only worsened the current situation even though the OnlyFans in question was non-sexual and actually showed DeMayo working on some of his projects.

Similar rumors started spreading after DeMayo was fired from ‘The Witcher’ production. Both incidents blew over rather quickly. Several weeks after DeMayo’s official firing, Marvel Exec Winderbaum commented on the firing and revealed that they “simply parted” ways, something that implies that the firing was mutual (???).

In any case, until we have anything confirmed, or DeMayo decides to reveal the real reasons, we will likely never know for sure.
