‘Captain America: Brave New World,’ slated for release on February 14, 2025, marks one of the first films of MCU’s Phase Five. Anthony Mackie will star as the new Captain America, a role he inherits with a unique twist from Chris Evans’ Steve Rogers.

While familiar and fresh faces are set to join Mackie, fans are curious about Seth Rollins’ role in the movie. The WWE star was cast in an undisclosed role, but details remain elusive.

At present, it remains uncertain whether Rollins will appear in the movie. Although he has filmed scenes, conflicting rumors suggest his role may have been entirely removed during recent reshoots as the film pivoted to a different storyline.

Seth Rollins, also known as Tyler Black, is a popular WWE wrestler and occasional actor. While WWE fans are familiar with him, interest from MCU fans grew when he was confirmed to appear in ‘Captain America: Brave New World.’ Initially, his role was kept under wraps, leaving fans curious about his character.

Since then, various theories and rumors have surfaced suggesting that Rollins may portray King Cobra, also known as Klaus Voorhees, a significant member of Marvel’s Serpent Society—a compelling group of villains from the comics. Rollins’ appearance certainly fits the character, fueling excitement among fans and Rollins himself.

I’m not allowed to say much, but I will say it’s been an incredible experience so far and I’m very, very much looking forward to seeing what’s to come. (…) Nope, can’t do that! Can’t tell you nothing about that (smiles). It was a really good experience and I think it’s going to be pretty cool. I think our audience is going to love it. I think their audience is going to love it, so it was a cool crossover to be able to jump into some totally different skin and try a new thing out for me.

I’m not comfortable…like, look, I’m 38. I’ve only been doing wrestling for 20 years. Only, nonstop. That’s it. I worked in like crappy restaurants and a carwash when I was in my early 20s, and that’s it. Other than that all I’ve done is wrestling, so anytime I get out of my comfort zone I am nervous. I’m like I suck at this, I don’t know what I’m doing, but I was in good hands and it was a really fun experience and I’m excited to see how it turns out.

Meanwhile, well-known insider CanWeGetSomeToast previously disclosed that Seth Rollins’ character has been entirely cut from the movie. This decision wasn’t due to any action by the WWE star but rather because the reshoots scrapped the Serpent Society storyline altogether.

As of now, there’s no official confirmation regarding Seth Rollins’ involvement or his role in the movie. If these rumors are accurate, it may disappoint many fans. Stay tuned for updates, as we’ll continue to provide the latest news as soon as it becomes available!
