The final two episodes of ‘Agatha All Along’ have been released. The ending was touching but didn’t give all the characters a happy conclusion. From the first episode, viewers have wondered about Agatha’s son, Nicholas Scratch, who she allegedly sacrificed to gain the Darkhold, which made the magical community turn against her.

The finale reveals Agatha’s dark past with her son, dating back centuries. When Agatha was about to give birth in the wilderness, a woman named Rio Vidal appeared. Agatha’s son was supposed to be stillborn, and although the details of their deal are unclear, Rio says she can’t save him but can give him more time.

In the flashback, we see Agatha and her son Nicky killing witches. It seems that Agatha had to sacrifice witches to buy more time for Nicky, as a life for a life. Things take a turn when Nicky and Agatha fail to kill their targets, and Nicky is seen walking away with Rio, dying.

Heartbroken, Agatha buries her son and meets a young witch who asks her to join the Witches Road, which Agatha knows is fake. Despite her son’s death, Agatha continues to kill witches for centuries, gaining a dark reputation.

Why did Agatha keep killing witches? The simplest answer is that she became addicted to power. Agatha likely continued to sacrifice witches to extend her own life, struggling to live without that power even after her son died. With nothing left to lose, she wanted more power and didn’t care who got hurt along the way.

It’s important to remember that Agatha had been doing terrible things before her son was born, so it makes sense for her to keep killing witches even when she didn’t need to.

Remember, Agatha was doing terrible things long before she had her son, so it’s in her character to keep killing witches even when she didn’t really need to.

However, this is just our theory since the show didn’t explain it directly. To find out if this theory is true or not, we’ll have to wait for the cast or showrunner to clarify.
