Yellowstone Spin-Off ‘1923’ Breaks Records on Paramount+

Paramount+ has found its biggest hit with 1923, the latest spin-off of Taylor Sheridan’s Yellowstone franchise. The show, starring Helen Mirren and Harrison Ford, has taken over the streaming platform, breaking records and receiving high praise from critics.
The second season of 1923 premiered to 5.4 million viewers, making it the most-watched debut in Paramount+ history. This is a massive 146% increase from its first season’s premiere. The show follows the Dutton family as they navigate tough challenges, including the Great Depression, while staying true to their family values.
With the return of 1923, fans have also been revisiting the other Yellowstone series, 1883 and the original Yellowstone, keeping Sheridan’s work at the top of the charts. The franchise will continue expanding with The Madison, another upcoming spin-off.
Not only is 1923 a ratings success, but it is also a critical favorite. The new season holds a perfect 100% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, making it the highest-rated show in the Yellowstone universe.
Alongside Mirren and Ford, the show features a talented cast, including Julia Schlaepfer, Jerome Flynn, Darren Mann, and Timothy Dalton. Fans can stream 1923 now on Paramount+.
